Opera North's resident orchestra frequently perform popular works such as Puccini's Tosca, Mozart's Don Giovanni and Wagner's Tristen and Isolde at Leeds Town Hall.

Leeds Festival Chorus
Sing with top orchestras. One of Britain's finest choruses presenting classical choral music in Yorkshire and beyond accompanied by orchestras like the BBC Philharmonic and CBSO. Leeds Festival Chorus welcomes membership applications. Under 26s can join for free and all applicants must take an initial audition.
 
Leeds International Concert Season
Series of classical concerts staged at Leeds Town Hall. Many free lunchtime concerts make this worth a visit.

A Good range of bands and club nights are hosted at LMU. Has played host to Flaming Lips, Idlewild and The Orb.
 
The Cockpit
One of Leeds best live music venues for a host of up and coming and established bands. Previous acts have included Coldplay, At the Drive In, ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead and Death in Vegas.
 
The Irish Centre
Situated on York Road this venue regularly hosts gigs from big names in rock and jazz.
 
The New Roscoe
The best in roots music, blues and folk can be found at this 400 capacity venue. Many free lunchtime gigs make this an essential Leeds venue.
